Next day, we drove to Monument Valley where many western movies are taken (many John Wayne movies !!).

Navajo Indian Nation (Indian Reservation) is very large and the Monument Valley is just small part of it.

This is my third visit to the Monument Valley but I visited Visitor Center for the first time ($5/person Admission Fee)

Visitor Center building with the hotel "The View Hotel". There was a large gift shop with many beautiful Navajo Indian's hand made products.

We had a lunch at the restaurant in the Visitor Center. (Not a Indian food !!)

At the Blanding city, 5,759 ft altitute, it was 13F (-10.5C) at 5:00 AM.
