Q3 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf
9/18/10
The
3rd. Qtr. 2010 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf was held on 9/18 at the Valley Course
of Castlewood Country Club where D. I. Cho and K. Shim are members. 8
players including 2 ladies played on the day. The weather was cloudy whole
day but the temperature was just good to play golf. Everyone enjoyed the day
very much at this beautiful private club course.
At the 1st. hole tee ground (Left to
right) :
D. I. Cho, W. K.
Chang, Jane Cho, Mrs. Shim, K. M. Shim, D. W. Lee, T. H. Lim and K. R. Choi.
No one could put the ball at #4 hole
(163/152 yards from blue/white tees respectively) and long #6 hole (206/187
yards) in the front 9.
In the back 9, K. M. Shim made the closest to the pin at #11 long PAR-3 hole
(190 yards).
And D. I. Cho made the closest to the pin at
#14 hole which requires accurate distance shot.
This hole is short (107 yards) but has narrow green with a large bunker at
the back and a large lake at the front.
Longest Drive Award went to D. W.
Lee.
T. H. Lim shot 85 and became the Medalist of the day.
K. R. Choi, whose golf shots have
been improved very much recently was the Champion of the Quarter.

After the
golf, we all went to the church, where the funeral service for Mrs. M. E.
Hong was held in the evening from 7:30PM, to express sincere condolence to
M. E. Hong who has just lost his wife on 9/15. Mrs.
M. E. Hong was 58 years young yet but had very rare sickness of Anemia
which was discovered about a year ago.
