	2011 Q2 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf The Last Tournament *7/23/11* The 2nd. Qtr. 2011 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf was originally scheduled to play on 6/25. However, due to the delayed arrival of K. M. Shim from Korea, it was postponed by almost a month and played at the Cinnabar Hills Golf Club at the southern tip of San Jose. The weather was perfect - cool in the morning and little warm in the afternoon. At the golfing, we learned K. M. Shim will not come to Silicon Valley as he has been but will come only once a year now on, probably some time in Summer, and stay only a few weeks with his two sons here not playing golf as he has been any more. Because of this change, we will not have enough players to play quarterly KMI/AMI Alumni Golf Tournaments any more. Therefore, we decided to discontinue this tournament and 7/23 Q2 2011 tournament this time will be the last tournament we will have. It is very sorry and we all will miss this golf very much, but no one can escape from getting older. Please click image at left to see larger images and details.
	2011 Q1 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf *3/26/11* The 1st. Qtr. 2011 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf was held on 3/26 at the Valley Course of Castlewood Country Club finally after 1 week postponement due to heavy rain and cold temp. on 3/19 originally planned. 7 players including 2 ladies played on the day though there were on-and-off very light rains but with no wind fortunately. The course was playable but very wet because of morning rain after very wet winter for Dec. - Mar.. Q2 Tournament is scheduled to play on 6/25 Saturday after K. M. Shim couple return from Korea. 	2010 Q4 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf *12/11/10* The 4th. Qtr. 2010 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf was held on 12/11 at the Poppy Ridge Golf Course in Livermore, almost an hour drive to northeast from San Jose and operated by NCGA, The Northern California Golf Association. There were many rainy days recently but it was a perfect golfing day without rain nor strong wind though it was foggy in the morning (cleared in the afternoon). It was not cold also at the highest temperature of around 65F. Only 6 members including 2 ladies have enjoyed the day, as K. M. Shim couple were in Korea and could not join. 	2010 Q3 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf *9/18/10* The 3rd. Qtr. 2010 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf was held on 9/18 at Valley Course of Castlewood Country Club where D. I. Cho and K. Shim are members. 8 players including 2 ladies played on the day. The weather was cloudy whole day but the temperature was just good to play golf. After the golf, we all went to the church, where the funeral service for Mrs. M. E. Hong was held in the evening from 7:30PM, to express sincere condolence to M. E. 	2010 Q2 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf W. K. Chang hit 77 !! The 2nd. Qtr. 2010 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf was held on 7/24 Saturday afternoon at the Pacific Grove Golf Links in Monterey peninsula, about one and half hour drive to south from San Jose, not too far from famous Pebble Beach Golf Links. It was foggy whole day without sun and little chilly with 65F max. temp.. W. K. Chang was the hero of the day hitting 77, 7 over par, not only his lowest score in his life but also the lowest score of KMI/AMI Alumni Tournament history. (The lowest up to now was 82 hit by K. M. 	2010 Q1 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf *It was D.I.'s Day - 3/20/10* The 1st. Qtr. 2010 KMI/AMI Alumni Golf was held on 3/20 Saturday afternoon at the Castlewood Country Club Valley Course in Pleasanton, about 30 min. drive to northeast from San Jose and a private club where D. I. Cho and K. M. Shim are members. It was really D. I. Cho's Day as he won all awards but The Longest-Drive Award and Medalist Award which K. M. Shim won. D. I. won - 2009 Champion Award, 1Q-2010 Champion Award and two Closest-to-the-Pin Awards by home course advantage and great iron shots on the day. The weather was absolutely perfect with highest temperature of 75F (24C) and lightly clouded sky during the whole tournament. Please click image at left to see larger images and details.
